anyone know any good sites for the old ipad 1 .

i am either looking in wrong spot or pricing is wacky as no farkin way would i pay that close to ipad 3 prices for 1st gen.

basically dad will always have double vision and will need to wear a patch alternating eyes. that allows single vision but blurry. dads life is reading..he devours books and i believe goes thru 6 odd books a week. (hes prolly read half of his local library). someone told me the ibook app is good and may help dad read still as he doesnt like audio books . so i thought given he isnt interested in net surfing and will use it mostly to read..the ipad 1 would be ok. any feedback appreciated. please.

As the iPad 3 is now out I believe the only place you will find an iPad1 is secondhand. Apple is the kind of company that dont want "old" stock being sold as "new" Ebay etc will be your only hope!

A friend of mine is a pilot and just got an iPad 1 for use with navigational software. I'll try to find out where he got it.
