Wed Dec 13th - 8 hour patch

Post by Kofn »

Wednesday, December 13th at 4am PST.

Coming in the December 13th update:

Bard weapon/instrument fix
Fix for tasks not counting stacked items on loot
Fix for crashing in game causing your stacked items to revert to 1 item
All clicky items showing as instant cast that shouldn’t be will be rectified.
And a fix to an exploit, sorry no details on this one!

Revamp to Ocean of Tears MAY be implemented in this update, if it is ready to go. No promises though!

Patch moved to Thursday it seems.
All EverQuest servers will be coming down at 4:00 AM PST (-8 UTC) on Thursday 12/14/2006 for a game update. Estimated downtime is 8 hours.

I would imagine the delay, and Vexo's problem, are related. Apparently SOE's internet broke somehow, patching servers, login servers, forums, etc were all affected, and EQ was unavailable for a time.

Dunno if it's all back to normal yet but assume so.

just think that with sisters and Zit down we could get a couple of clean attempts at hatchett...get some real learnings in on the event...

nothing will keep some folks from screwing up...but hopefully we can get a bit more of it mastered, and by not starting him late at night, have a full raid with fresh minds...maybe we can reduce the fuckups...
