I use this simply because I am lazy but it's a family favorite
Make yourself a panful of tastey gravey ... BUT make it thin not thick at all and have ALL the spices you want in it already as the dough will absorb them.
Take a small piece of bread dough, or use frozen if you choose. Roll it into bite size balls ... place in bubbling gravy and place lid on, turn stove to medium so it will just simmer or you'll have a hell of a mess to clean ... NOW LEAVE IT BE FOR 15 MINUTES ... DO NOT ... NOT ... N O T LIFT THAT LID !!
After 15 minutes remove from the gravy they will have almost doubled in size I eat mine just like that, my husband cuts his and puts butter on them.
